Inspect & Adapt reviews the PI with numbers (predictability, flow and quality) and runs a problem-solving workshop across teams and management. The improvements go into the next PI Planning.

02What it turns into on the old system

It becomes a project evaluation or a blame session, and is cut short when the schedule is tight.

03How you notice

I&A shrinks to an hour, or disappears.
The same problems return every PI.
Improvement items get no capacity in the next PI.

04How to make it work

Measure predictability as business value achieved against planned, plus flow metrics.

Do root-cause work across teams and management together.

Give improvement items real capacity in the next PI. Escalate what only the portfolio can change to the Portfolio Retro.
